A co worker gave me 4 bb pistols model 36,454 marksman repeater and a daisy 1200.The only one that works is the marksman. The Co2 seals are shot on the others.Just wondering how the others shot.I'm not a collector if it doesnt shoot and shoot at least good enogh for tin cans at 15' then I don't want it.That said any one want a marksman for the cost of shipping.

The Marksman is dubious but, the 454 can be fixed easily. Sometimes, it's good to just tear into these old guns just for the learning.

And Daisy folks can help you with parts/seals etc.

I am not much of a BB gun guy. The terms 'BB' and 'accuracy' normally do not belong in the same sentance. The only BB gun I have is the Crosman 454 BBMatic; sold all the others.

The Daisy 1200 is just plain fun to shoot. So, yes, it is a good candidate for a reseal.

The Crosman 454 is also a fun shooter and easy to work on. You can shoot an aluminum tin can in half in 15 minutes or so at 5M. A reseal kit likely will cost what the gun is worth. I have one and only use it to when I wish to fair poorly in CAPOF monthly BB target competitions.

The 1200 is simple to rebuild. I got one from my late father that leaked. Couldn't find any directions on the web so I decided what the heck and tore it apart. I found only 2 o-rings, replaced them and all is good. One is under the piercing cup and the other is on the end of the valve.  You will see where I mean as both places have slots for a flat screwdriver.

I have two 454s and they are fun shooters accuracy is not bad for a BB gun. From what i hear from Larry there easy to work on. I would get both of them shooting if you can why not.
