It's cool enough to shoot in the attic today I've been shooting outdoors a lot at a friends house but it will be indoors today and maybe do some work on my next build.
How's the weather by you.
About 78 right now in Jacksonville and climbing. sunny and dry at the moment. Heading up to South Carolina in a couple of hours. Afternoon thunder storms expected there, but then that is the south in summertime :-*
pretty crappy here --- waiting on a reseal kit :(
Another 90 deg day in Idaho... but it's a "dry heat" :D ;D
No guns to work on until I get Davio's hydro-dip grips and pump arm next week and the LNIB Crosman 262 co2 rifle, also next week, I hope ???
Crappy here (upstate NY). Sticky and rainy. I'm hoping it stops raining so I can shoot again (I did yesterday too). I wish I can shoot indoors, but I don't have a basement or an attic :(
81 degrees, 89% humidity here on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It'll be another sticky day with a possible thunderstorm for me.
Sunny, mid-eighties, afternoon and evening thunderstorms
took the day off, light chores then some fun (new build :) :) :) :) )
Crappy rainy, humid in the People's Republic of Mass. After work I will either try my hand at tapping a hole in an Mrod trigger assembly...easy I think....or replacing the glass on my ipad >:(. That looks NOT easy.

Humid as heck her now that it started raining again. But I managed to plink a couple of cans (paper targets would have gotten wet) between rain storms :-*

:D What a surprise, Mike will "live" near the the Crosman factory! :D
Get a 5 bedroom place Mike, that should be enough room for your soon to be 1000 gun collection! ;)
Back to weather, let's all be glad we aren't in Nashville TN, seen that flooding down there? :o
Hope Carl is doing OK? (near Nashville?)
Praying for Carl. Stay safe.

LOL. I wouldn't be surprised after someone said he made the vids I posted in the Off Topic thread (Crosman factory tour). I wouldn't be surprised if he got a job there. Listen to his voice in the vid. "Parts!" ;D
Carl should be ok. Think he is about an hour east of the music city.
Hot and humid here in upper middle South Carolina. Gotta be 95 out there, but no thermometer to tell for sure.
Quick hijack, Rich have you guys found the retirement dream place yet?
Rain off and on all day, now sun is out and 70's. nice for the weekend ( so THEY say )

Not yet, we are here in SC and are looking at a few places tomorrow. One of them is a 20 acre spread and the other is 25 acres. Hoping one of them is the one. We have a couple of others to look at in the 2-5 acre range. Need to find the right house and land combo. Been to Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee so far and now South Carolina. I would have liked to make an offer on a house in TN, but the wife says it needs to much work. Bahhh. It's awesome property with a stocked spring fed pond! She just doesn't see my priorities the same way :(
I apologize for the jack.....back to the thread.....

That is a nice looking place I don't see where it needs that much work but I am a man. :)

Yep, I know. I should have worded that sentence better. But it was funny when I heard you get excited when you saw parts LOL.
Anywho, gonna be a shootin' day today! Sun is out, just a light breeze, and warm (70). Yay!
Had plenty of rain this summer, wettest July on record. Of course with that is the humidity.
It has been almost nice outside if there's a breeze...not much of that lately tho.
Lucky enough to have a small woodturning shop I can shoot from inside or on nice days I can set up my little shooting bench and poke holes in paper.
If I'm not turnin' wood I'm shootin'!!
It's been quite nice here in the central valley of California lately. High 80's low 90's and cooling off nicely at night, into the 60's. Not bad for August here.

Lucky you. I want to move to Cali. My cousin lives there. We were close as kids. Wait .... I live 15 minutes from Crosman ..... Ummmm, maybe not LOL.
Anywho, another beautiful day here in Crosman land. Gotta do some chores, then off to punch some holes in paper targets ;)

That's the first time in awhile someone has said they want to move to California. most people want nothing to do with this state anymore. ;D. Myself if lived in upstate n.y. I'd be hard pressed to leave.
I would be very hard pressed to leave upstate NY, even with the high taxes ..........
In SoCal. this morning, 59 degrees and FOG! No summer this year, just FOG!
I get the best of both worlds, weather-wise, here. Nice weather in the summer (most of the time) to shoot. And snow in the winter to snowboard. I'm not leaving. BUT my cousin does get ALOT more sunny days in Cali. She brags about it :P to her ;D
Left Cali for the wilds of Idaho but go back to see the kids a few times a year... was born there and spent over 40 years in No and So Cal, great weather but... it's just you and 38 million of your "closest friends" . We lived 18 miles from the beach and it took over and hour to get there and you could enjoy the surf and sand with another 5000 people if you could find parking :D
I like this better... our beach on the Salmon River :-* 8)
Now that's a nice beach. :-*
I would :-\ to have a place there ............ :-*
Raining right now :( I wanted to shoot targets for the bench rest comps .... ggggrrrrr. Maybe it will clear up. If not, it will a plinking kind of day.

Me too Kevin but, it's only 20 minutes away and on any weekday, even during summertime, you won't see more than 40 or 50 folks along that 1/2 mile of the river. Same with the Payette river, you can "take" any 1/4 mile stretch as your own for the day. We have so many rivers and recreation spots that our 1.6 million (total) state population spreads out from Canada and Montana on the north to Nevada and Oregon in the southwest.
Heck, last I looked there were 3.2 million people just in Orange County CA, twice our entire state! :D
Here's a few winter pics from last year up near Cascade Idaho (ya, the same Cascade where we
shoot child kidnappers >:( :-*
Not sure who that funny lookin dude is ;), but he's with my cute little wife!
Another rainy day here on L.I. more attic fun.
