Now there is a good question. Where did you get Crosman Flat head match pellets in .22 cal. I haven't seen those in years.

OK. I forgot to see where you are. Auckland? Here in the USA, Crosman does not sell wad cutters in .22cal, only in .177. In answer to your original question, you are just going to have to shoot different pellets in your gun to find out which one it likes the best.

Yea, what he said. I just emailed Crosman and asked this question. Why do you sell .22 wad cutters in the UK, but not in the USA? It even says on the tin, Made in the USA.

ITS Probably the old target vs hunting stereotype...
.177 for paper, .22 for fur.
Long ago, I think all I could find was wadcutters, in either .177 or .22.

If you can get them, try some RWS and/or H&N pellets, their lower priced pellets are of excellent quality.  RC

I got a reply from Crosman about the.22 cal pellets.

The .22 caliber wadcutter pellets were discontinued here due to lack of sales. We brought them back in a smaller container several years ago, but unfortunately the sales just weren't there again. Since there a other companies that make .22 wadcutters the decision was made to drop them from the line.

Thank you for contacting Crosman Corporation.

Cameron

Very interesting - I would have never guessed.

Just a short while ago one could get Beeman .25 Perfect Rounds (yes, round balls) just about everywhere from PA to AofA to Airgun Depot. Now, good luck. AofA simply said they didn't sell well/no demand so they stopped stocking them. Luckily MAC1 had a few and I cleaned him out.
