Title: pistol classification
Post by: cheewee on May 18, 2012, 08:24:40 PM
how do you guys classify a gun, is it based on the grip frame?
i built up a gun out of parts, it has a 2300t grip frame and barrel but the rest of the gun is made up of 2240 parts including the stock breech.

agreed. its the 2240 platform. my opinion (whatever thats worth) its only the special series like the 2300 or 2400 if its the sum of the majority of parts for that gun. otherwise its a 22xx platform. JMO

Yep, sounds right (1740) if it has a .177 barrel and a 2240 tube. Grip frames are basically the same unless you look inside, right?

i see they were made from 1999-2001
if there is a tube available they seem they would be scarce.so the hunt begins
