Title: Trigger
Post by: Sir William on October 06, 2012, 07:21:57 PM
This is my new, prototype, trigger.  Sadly, it exhibits all of the grace, beauty and style of a stone ax.  It does however, accomplish the two goals that I was shooting for (pun intended).  It moves the contact forward so that the more sensitive "pad" of the trigger finger contacts the trigger and provides a flatter, more comfortable contact surface.
Now that I know how to do it, version two will have a bit of "style".

I like it.  What did you make it from, and how thick is it? RC

Thanks guys, appreciate your feedback.  Love the Anschutz setup!
My trigger is made from 1/8" cold rolled steel.  My only tools are a 40 year old drill press and a drawer full of files so I won't be going into production.
One could use brass but I find it harder to work with – files tend to skate rather than cut.
