Rich I don't see why you couldn't make one :-*

Looks like for Co2 you could get away with just an o-ring on a brass tube that fits snugly into a counterbore on the cap. Thread the other side for a nipple fitting.
On the other side of the tube, just add a collar held by a set screw.

That's the plan, now I just need the time  ;D

Thats what I want.  I wish they came in stainless.   From the pice they look adjustable?   You could put a slightly longer tube on and they could easily be made to work?

Do you you find the remote air a pain to handle?

One other question anyone running HPA at 1600psi?   I have another gun with that setup would be nice to share the air:)

My 25 cal build, "Stone Cold started out with a 13 cu. in. tank and 1600psi reg from JDS Air. With 20 grain FTT pellets and 18 inch barrel , Disco Boss Valve it chronied in the low 700's and shot count of 30-35
I then went to a 22 cu. in. tank and 1800psi reg. The fps went up to 775 with a shot count of 60 good strong shots.

Recently I ordered a BNM breech, 24 inch LW choked barrel and a 22 cu. in. tank from HPA Expert with a 2000 psi reg. I was thinking the fps would surpass the 800-825 mark. This configuration shot slower than before and accuracy was very bad.
I am in the process of putting Stone Cold back as was except I will try the 2000 reg and compare fps with old set up.

I went with the Disco tube because I believe it is safer, no roll stamp, it is rated at least 2000 since it is from a Disco, and it has the valve retention holes already drilled. I disliked having the gauge in the tube and saw it as another 3 places where a leak could develop. I had the section of tube from in front of the gauge laying around so I machined all the necessary hoes and slots, leaving out the extra hole for the gauge. I think it gives a better look without the gauge.

The LW barrel and riser breech from BNM will most likely be up for sale soon. It is .25 cal and could be cut and 2 barrels made from it for someone wanting a barrel for a pistol build and use the rest for a carbine.

If you decide to try making these and want to do one in stainless...... pm me PLEASE  :-*

Very interesting!   I just bought a bnm breech and was thinking of putting it with a 24" barrel at 1600psi.   Will your old config use the BNM breech?  What length barrels do the 2260's have?

Yes, it will and that is what I had mounted. Sadly the results were not what I expected. probably no fault of the breech which is a nice, well made part.

I suspect the 2260 is a 24 inch but I am not completely sure.

007s - When you get ready to sell the LW Barrel let me know first. I would be interested in it. BTW - What in the O.D. of the barrel?

Thanks in Advance

Am I correct to assume there are no factory barrels in any length that are .25 that will fit the 22XX platform?

Thanks

If you mean as in Crosman Factory barrels..... I'm not 100% sure but I think the only Crosman .25 barrels are the ROD series and are a larger O.D. that requires being turned down to fit the 13XX / 22XX breech. So yes & no. I'm sure the fellas will chime in and confirm if any other mods to MROD barrel are required?

So they would need a riser breech or just where the breech attaches have it tuned down?

If you are using a MRod .25 from Crosman. The OD of the Barrel is larger then the standard .470, so you either have to turn the breech end of the barrel down, or drill the breech larger. Also on the standard breech, the chamber (bolt) is sealed with an o-ring on the bolt, whereas the MRod has a o-ring seal in the barrel.

My .25cal Barrel has been turned down to fit.

It is, as others have said, a bit fatter on the OD than standard 13xx/22xx barrels.

BUT this does depend on who or which company produced the .25 barrel and which gun it was intended for.

As Crosman barrels seem to have one of the smallest ODs, it would make sense that any .25 would need turning assuming
Crosman doesn't make any specifically. Really if they did there'd be loads on here and it wouldn't be a rarer more unusual cal.

I did wonder if the breech had been open a little too. But I think it is just my eye spotting differences
between a 13xx/22xx breech versus a Disco breech. For example; no dove cut for a rear sight and
a little notch at the front underside where the barrel extends out.

I know pictures are required to give a clear reference.  :P

BTW, you can use a .22 probe in a .25 barrel if you put on a thicker O-ring.

IMHO!  ;)
