I hope they aren't discontinued. That's a good pellet... And I'm down to my last tin.

*edit*
I see that the walmart web site isn't listing the EX pellets. They have regular destroyers though.

I heard this a few years ago at Walmart.

As a newbie to all this fun, I did not even think to look at the first tin of Detroyers I picked up from Wally World... and go figure, they are Ex's. I plan to hit all of the local stores now and pick up as many as they have on the shelves.

They were discontinued, they're just tagged as EX's, I've bought a few tins of EX's lately and they are regular Destroyers inside...

it was reported that the ex was more accurate than the regular. i havent shot the regular so it will be a learning experience. if i get a tin with the regulars in it

That has been my experience,  they shoot a touch lower and  a smidge larger groups than the 7.4 pointed  @ 20 yards for me, in all three .177s.

At 25 yards and beyond not as good...

Still have an old tin of the regulars and  none of my pumpers like them.

MK1322(2240/13XX/MK177 hybrid) 805 fps at @ 22 pumps w/14.3g CPHP

about 5 more 13xxs
Two Daisy 953(# 31x Jan. 1985) & (Sept 2004)
2100b (with old style piston)
.25 Mrod (50fpe tune)
.177 BSA Buccaneer (on the way)

oh they're both the same thing now? I haven't bought any for a while since i stocked up. I knew i should have grabbed a couple tins last night when i got some CPHP

vertguy

The 1 local Walmart I hit only has the EX's (I grabbed 4 more tins). I did compare a tin of non-Ex's and there are subtle differences between the 2. I plan to do some shooting comparisons to see if my gun notices any differences between the 2.
