I love how that looks, but man, how do you close it up to shoot without bumping the scope?  ???
There's no way I could do it.

I took the laser off today. The stock sights are too nice. Gamo Magnums are shooting the best groups with my gun at 20 yrds. Tried CPHP's and JSB Exacts, but they're both shooting left of the bulls eye.

LOL...I just push down with my finger tips on one side, thumb on the other. Hand itself never touches the scope.

Oh, yeah...it helps if you are using these... ;)

Got to say, I prefer my old style box, to the new blister packaging.

Mine is a transition phase gun, it has a 2004 box, but P17 stamped on the gun.

I got a new Mark II for my wife and kids... I think it was a pretty good trade.

OK,P17 club members, I finally got around to sighting in my new P17 and yes, it works just as good as my old one. The first target is with H&N match pellets I had from back in the 80's. The second target is with GAMO tomahawk pellets. This is 5m on the bench rest. I take a dime and a sharpie and draw around the dime. I have only shot 50 shots through the gun so far. I think it will get better with more shots. Not bad for a $40 gun. 8)

That will be my next challenge to do the 10m shoot with this thing. Same thing, circle a dime and put it on the bench. I might have to raise the sight up a bit, but we will see. I just wish that I had some better pellets. I can't make up my mind which ones to buy.

I got two sample kits i`m just about ready to try them really got the kits for my Phantom 1000 heck got that for Xmas and never fired it yet not really into rifles but any way i have about 18 different pellets i`ll let you know once i find what mine likes i do know it doesn`t like the crosman destroyers ex
