My 14.5" barrel arrived from Crosman - I ordered the 2250 14.5 inch barrel, part # 2250-019. Looks like I pretty much have to totally tear down the pistol to install it. I saw a good tear down video on youtube so will be putting it in this weekend.

The barrel looks a little rough....almost unfinished on the exterior, a matte finish that could probably use a bit of polishing? It clearly needs to be hit with some steel wool to remove a few light rust spots. Crown passes the qtip test and breech looks like it is chamfered a bit so OK there too.

Not a lot, and none of it heavy, but I can see a few spots here and there. Enough I want to clean it up before I slide part of it away and hidden in the breech.

Don't rub on it much or you will have no finish. Consider taking it all off and putting a decent cold blue on it; way better than what crosman  does, tk
