A quick question guys.  Does Crosman make a .25 barrel that will fit the Disco/22xx steel breech without having to thin it down to 7/16" od?

Nuts about airguns and just nuts in general...but I'm medicated.

Bryan and Assoc. makes one for the Crosman breeches for 45.00.  I have the one for the big bore breech and it shoots very well.
Go to their page and look under accessories.

You do that.  When you build your .25 out, you are required to send it to me for some high altitude testing.  ;D

I think so... ;D

Plus, one never knows when they will be in a situation where a shot is required in higher altitude regions...I'm just saying.

That offer is extended to you also...you never know.

If you mean the one on this page I used it for my 1325 project and while it is turned down for the Crosman breech the rest of the barrel is ~9/16"
you will need to shim the breech and enlarge the barrel bands.

Over at the GTA there is a new option being developed by CarsonRatSniper  a 1 in 22 hammer forged barrel made by Mike Sayers.

http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=75310.0

just remember if you want a quarter bore 7/16" barrel that only leaves about .09" wall thickness...

and they are blanks so chamber leade and such is up to you.

the above BnA barrel came will a .125 port drilled(I enlarged) but the rest was up to me which I did with a 1/4"drill bit and then a modified F(.257) bit then wet dry and a dowel...

If you have the tools and know how to get it out of the block I am pretty sure it is a np xl725 barrel.

I think you would have to talk to him about the prep if you want him to do it...

Thanks for all of the info guys!!  With money being my biggest issue I think a .22 barrel from Crosman is more within reach.  It may be a few months before I can even do that...more for my wish list!!

I've bookmarked the links and noted the info for my binder for reference.  Thanks again!!
