hi looking for the best think to put on top my 2240 scope or red dot I shoot between 15 to 35mts  what do"es anyone recommend  "ken  ( uk )

The best scope for a pistol?? Look at the Lepould. I use the NcStar 2.5x scope on my 1740. A little on the heavy side, but the price fits my budget at $40. shipped to the house from ebay.... There are others also, like the BSA and Weaver and probably a few more than that out there. I would reccomend a search on the web and narrow it down from there.
