Is there an O-ring slot milled into the breech end, inside of the barrel?   Different looking transfer port hole?
That looks like a Prod barrel.

You bet there is!

What is a "Prod"?

Thank you!

On second thought, Alliance sent me a diagram of a Marauder pistol and the diagram is an exact match for the barrel I have.

Maybe it's an omen...

I put the Marauder (1701) trigger on it along with the plastic grips from my 1722 Classic and shimmed the LPA sight in - it feels nice - who knows, maybe I'll shoot a few puny 17's through it tomorrow just for the heck of it.

.22's kill squirrels way better.

I thought a 17xx (1720T/Pistol Marauder/1701P) series barrel would not fit a 22xx/13xx without modification?

The Zen Master

I'm no even thinkin of that! Crosman has the correct barrel on the way - the Marauder barrel is a conversation piece now!

crossliner

Lol! Not a 22xx but a 13xx with a Don Cothran breech and some mods here and there. I finished this one just this week. Still waiting for my Don Cothran trigger

Also waiting for my adapter from Poland, so I could mount my "pickle"

OK, got an email from Crosman my barrel was shipped - I wonder what barrel I will get this time?  :)

I took the 1701 trigger apart last night and cleaned it - it was a bit gooey feeling - and yah there was some goo in there, and while I realize it is not the Geissele trigger I have on my SPR, it still has a strange feel...

If I cock the pistol and take up the first stage it feels good-enough, but, if then, I release the trigger and re-take-up the first stage, it does not feel the same - almost slightly sticky - and all the surfaces look good under a 7X MaginVisor, so I'm stumped?

Its better than the factory trigger but not as nice as the 1701 trigger I put on my 1322 American Classic.

First 5-shots at 5-yards 2-hands resting on a door frame - probably why all the left and right but elevation spot on never even adjusted a screw. never had that happen before.

Nice group  :-*

Now you may change your mind and respect the .177  ;)

3 pumps, 4 shots at 15 yards using .4.52 JSB 8 grain pellets  :-*

Was planning to change the barrel to a LW but now I am liking this one a lot  :-*

The 2 moa size dot on my Vortex Sparc helped a lot with the aiming.

Oh, I polished the leade and the port and cleaned the bore with Hoppes, Mother's Polish then Ballistoled it.

I have had always gotten very good Crosman barrels in .177, just saying  :-*

We have about the same barrel, btw.
