Anyone making grips for the MKI/II? Been away for so long that most of the links to grip makers in my browser are no longer active.

Would be totally satisfied with a set of original LH grips from a MKI or MKII.

Thanks all.

Thanks, BillK. Vernon is an assumed name, and I know he is capable of making some quality grips. Have not seen any of his work posted lately on AA. But, my opinion has been jaded by past experience with him. I will hold onto this email address, though. Cheers!

I have had the opposite experiences with him. (whoever he is)  I'm don't think he is the same guy that was flakey a number of years ago.  If he is, he has reformed.  I have a number of his grips & am happy.

Here are grips he did for a MK2.  Second pic shows actual color better.

I have bought many grips from him and his service and the quality of his product have always been outstanding.  :)

The Austin story goes back 3-4 years ago. Some mention may still be buried in this forum. Prior to that time, I had several of his grips. All were excellent. I amy still send him an email and get a quote. Thanks all.

Below is a set of grips Vernon made for my 1377 project several years ago. I regret ever letting them go.

I also have ordered a few grips from him over the years and have always been utterly impressed. Because I have such huge hands, he custom made me an XL size set for my 2540 and am amazed how well they turned out. :-*

Looking goooooood! :-*
Larry, do you lefty guys prefer an ambi type grip as opposed to a target grip?

I like both grip types. For two-hand shooting and sharing the gun with a right hander, ambi grips have value.

Check Ebay and American Airguns Classifieds for listings by Vernon. I think his email address is vaustin928@yahoo.com.
