Hi Guys,
I want to put a red dot sight on my new 2300KT.  I ordered it with the 2x pistol scope and I'm having trouble seeing the cross-hair in the scope.
I have narrowed down my choices to two red dot sights.  One has a 3moa dot and the other one has a 2moa dot. In addition to shooting paper targets and tin cans, I want to use this pistol for dispatching some field mice that show up in my back yard at a distance of 40 feet or less.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks

Smaller moa dot is usually considered better as it covers less of the target.  However I don't think that at 40' one moa would make much difference.  I use a 3moa dot sight @ 10M and am happy with it.  (Millett SP1)

Millets are pretty popular in this forum.

I remember Mr. Barry (forgot the gent's handle, sorry) has 1 mounted on his beautiful custom 22xx pistol with Don Cothran parts.

Thanks guys,

This is just the info that I needed.  I will be ordering a Millett SP-1 as it looks like it will meet my needs nicely.

Ive used this one on my 22xx and 13xx for a long time. Mine was made by BSA. They are also under Aftermath.

Both sights are great and very inexpensive. I like the 1st one when i need a large fov. The 2nd is good for targets not running around.
