While I had done a little shooting with the Crosman CR357 a while back, "little" was the operative term.  The upside this past year has been a little .22 long rifle shooting, again "little".  ;D

I'd been trying the UBC Budget Comps with the only two contenders I had, a pair of rifles/carbines, a Crosman RM-377 and Crosman Quest 1000.  They were to be under $100 per their rules (and since I no longer owned any of the Chinese B-3s - man I had one that would have really been good for that comp), that's what I was running.  Just don't know why the guy kept scoring the RM-377 as a pistol  ??? as it's really a rifle.

So, my trap was made for lower velocity stuff, like the Daisy 953, or the Crosman pistols.  After a few comps, the Quest 1000 put two pellets through the doubled over 26-gauge steel.  That took the trap out of commission, and me.

Finally, I acquired a piece of steel from The Home Depot and installed it on the back, as well of some Duct Seal, guess I'm just a believer in that stuff.

So, first shots into it in a number of months.  Took my time.  Three pumps to a pellet, five shots to a bullseye.  Oh happy days.
It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.
