I've been away a long time. I've had a few PCs die and HDs croak. I lost all of my 1377 and 760 info. Does anyone have the info on converting the 1377 to a .22 with the 18" barrel and flow mods?

So far I have located and downloaded the Crosman manuals for my guns. I think I'm going to order the Crosman steel beech kit for my 1377 and buy a custom .22 bolt. I'll also order a new piston. Who's the best right now to deal with?

I'm having vermin problems. I'd rather build my 1377 or 760 into a heavy hitter rather than go out and blow money on a NIB gun.

Done!

Which .22 barrel, 2400 or 2250XE or does it matter?

2289 Barrel band and screw
Barrel site- fiber optic
1322 bolt
1377 steel breech kit

Anyone think of anything else I may need? Please critique.

All of my O-rings and seals are good plus I have an O-ring kit on standby. I want to get this gun up and plinking before doing the power mods. I will do some mild tweaking while the gun is apart but no major rework or power parts.
Has anyone done the marble and valve lapping compound deal to true up the barrel crown?
I would like this to be a solid consistent 25 yard gun. My end goal with power mods is a vermin deterrent. She will get a nice little scope with the power mods.

going from .177 to .22 you will need a .22 bolt to replace the .177 bolt so get a .22 breech kit, I think they're the same price.

.22 breech kit has been out of stock every time I've checked over the past 8 years. I posted above the 1322 bolt in my parts list to go with the 1377 breech kit. I could go ahead and drop some coin on a long reach .22 bolt. My plan was to rework the 1322 bolt anyway.

Somehow missed that obvious item in your list :), disregard... That should do it, pretty simple guns to modify and play with, I had a 2240 sitting around, a .177 bolt, steel breech and a 24" .177 barrel along with a carbine stock and made myself a nice little starling gun about a year ago I think... maybe two... after a while you end up with parts piles that can modify things on their own...

Dave @ Alchemy Air Works has one of the nicest pump pins.    http://www.alchemyairwerks.com/store/p1/Stainless_Steel_Roll_Pin_Replacement%C2%A0_for_Crosman_1322_1377_%2F_PC77_Backpacker_760.html

Chas. Mellon has the bushing & spacer that I feel are necessary for a pumper that will last for a few generations.
