Looking for a trigger shoe for my new 1701P.  Saw an older post from 2014.  Unfortunately, the information is out of date. Any current information on where to purchase one would be greatly appreciated.

Get one from Dave at Alchemyairwerks.com
He has a store on ebay

David is good! I just ordered some parts from Baker Airguns and picked up a shoe for my 2240xl while I was there anyway. Nice shoes with vertical ribs on the face. I think it was 10-12 bucks. Black or Silver.

Thanks for the information, but neither Baker Airguns nor Alchemy Airwerks had a trigger shoe that would fit a 1701p.  Dave did try several shoes on a 1701p trigger while I was on the phone with him, but none fit.  Great customer service!  Dave did have a wider 1701p replacement trigger that I ended up ordering from his eBay store.  Problem solved.  Thanks.

I have put a 1701P trigger assembly on every Crosman pistol I have made over the years.  I currently have four and the Baker trigger shoes fit perfectly.  :)

Interesting.  That would have saved me some money....

Yep, there is a difference in the width of the trigger, but come to think of it, the 2400kt that my grandson has is one I put a baker shoe on. And I have another 2400 here that has a crosman shoe on it. Both have 1701p trigger frames and triggers. When I was making my own shoes, I made the groove at about .200"/.210" if I'm not mistaken. The stock triggers are about .185" Well those numbers may be a little bit off. I don't have my drawing in front of me.

Here is the information from the Baker Airguns website about the trigger shoes.  " Trigger Shoes are available in anodized black or silver aluminum. These trigger shoes will work for Crosman 2240, 2250, 2260, 2300, 2289, 1377, 1322 model airguns."  Good to know that they also fit the 1701p.

Ok I was close on the dimensions. Here is a pic of the baker shoe on a 1701p trigger frame. Would switch out the set screws for shorter if staying here, but I will swap back to my original custom shop shoe.

Edit: I measured the groove widths of the custom shop shoe and the Baker shoe. CS = .210"   Baker = .202". Both do fit my 1701p trigger though. David might have special access to parts at Crosman due to his higher than the normal bear buying quantities? That's a guess and pure speculation, but if I have my drawing groove with at .210/.215 there must have been a reason for it. I'm thinking there may be a wider trigger that is somewhere in the mix? Could have been a fluke.
