What I would like is a device like a nitro piston to replace the hammer spring.
I find the vibration more annoying than the loss of gas from a de-bounce.

It may kill two birds with one stone meaning it will only fire once and not bounce?!

Anyone?!  ;)

Here's a couple of pictures of the new HDDs I received.  Have not installed and tested one yet but should get that done this Friday.  The device looks good and appears to be well made.  Will be interesting to see how it does in the long run.

Yep, stainless steel and not some plastic derivative or composite material.

Rich did you ever get to do any serious testing with the one you made?  I have to admit, the resemblance is remarkable.  When did you make that one?

I assume the hole is for the hammer pin, Carl.

I have two due to hit my mailbox this week.

Does the O-ring act as the brake so when it rebounds the o-ring rolls along the tapered edge to stop the pin bouncing?  ???

Yes, hole is for the hammer pin.  And correct, the o-ring rides up the taper and puts the brakes on.  That is the theory behind how it is supposed to work.  Will know more tomorrow.

hey there ya'll,

i'm very interested in this  hdd. looking strictly for increased shot count, anything else is gravy.

certainly do not want to spend money on the delrin junk that someone else is selling. already been burned by that person, not going to happen again.

don't know about anybody else but, i have to be careful about my airgun expenditures. 20 bucks isn't going to break the bank, but i'd hate to waste the moolah. :-X ;)

looking forward to your reports and thanks.

I ordered one and it came in a couple days ago. Unfortunately the envelope had a  nice hole it and where it slipped out. He's sending me another out. Hope to report on it some time next week. Have you  tried yours yet Carl ?

Hope to get one of mine installed tomorrow and do a little testing.  Will post the results and my opinion.
