Classic... bet she wondered why you had a certain look in your eye each time her hand went near the hole.   :)

Please don't read that out of context, looking back it seems my wordings a bit iffy!  ;D

I use a piece of steel inside a wooden box. I never need to maintain it!

I cut a couple of sheets of hardboard and layered them in the back of my wood target box.
On top of that, there's a double layer of corrugated card too. The combo works a treat.

BUT that isn't the actual target zone  :-[ - that's a 6 inch steel box. That packing is for flyers, BBs and friends as a backstop.
Inside the steel trap is a double bag of plumbers mate for peace and quiet.

I bought 4 sticky strips of LEDs that run off batteries to line the sides of the box for some lights out night shooting.
That or when I install the next stage they will make the pellet holes glow (I hope! That's the plan.)

Still a W.I.P.  :)    Sorry this isn't my thread and I'm rambling....  ;D
