Thanks for all the information posted here.

I'm going to check around my area vol. fire stations to see if any will fill tanks.  I don't think I'm going to be into the pumping action.
Long days and pleasant nights to you...

I'm liking the new 1720. It has the LW barrel.

I bought a new prod and love it. I fill it with a hand pump, with the small air tube the prod has on it it is easy to fill, and the pump is portable. Way, way more power than my 1322. The 1322 is now my extra.
I recommend the prod. I'm surprised there is not more discussion about them here.

there has to be a better term for the marauder pistol and the marauder
p-rod and m-rod sounds like p***s envy to me
p-rod is what i use to relieve myself of excess beverages m-rod is what the better half likes
i'll call them by their given names until a better term comes along but i doubt it will

I know the m-rod and P-rod are very popular, however I see an awful lot of almost new P-rods for sale on the boards.
My question is "why"?
Just asking,
Jon

Yup, I agree ED, the names don't make sense.

P = Pistol hence P-Rod - Pistol Marauder
M = Marauder hence M-Rod - Marauder Marauder
B = Bullpup hence B-Rod - Bullpup Marauder

So really the M-Rod should just be called a either a Rod or better Still an R-Rod - Rifle Marauder

There is a lot you can do with the p-rod

Marmot Militia sells LW barrels for the p-rod for $125

Or if you want to, you can put a marauder rifle barrel on it for $30. When I did that to mine it seemed like every shot was a perfect bullseye..
