Personally I would never buy a bb-spitting gun no matter how cool-looking or cheap they are. No offense meant gents. Best regards.

I agree but with the exception of the Tanfoglio Witness.

You may be right gents but for my purpose w/c is primarily rat hunting I would feel "uncomfy" w/ a bb gun..I want the projectile to hit where I am aiming at. Best regards.

Parts is parts Vern. 4-48 ss pan head for the breech screw.
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

BDS

O' duck of the mud...

Those are button-heads, the 4-48 in the stock breech is an ASME B18.3 low-head socket, are those button heads the same height (head thickness)?

No. Fronzdan said, in the post "breech size screw", to get these screws and trim a little of the side of the head and flatten the head just a touch and they will work. These are sloted head screws. Just got them to day from Industrial Bolt Co. here in SoCal. Haven't had a chance to try them yet.
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

with them being thicker they might help with the pellet loading problem
if the head sticks out too far shave it down till its flush or slightly lower than the hole in the breech no need for candle wax right? ???

If you find out they need some work done on them, send a few my way.

Fronzdan

Yeah just chuck em up in your power drill and file the head flat and reduce the diameter some. Also be sure to use the right size slotted screwdriver.
