I just got my order from Mellonair and I am very happy the 15" barrel has a beautiful shiny crown and the 2 bolts are very nice also.I can't wait to put it on my 1322 then I plan on putting the 1322 barrel on my 2240 but want to get a DC stainless breech for the 2240 and some optics for them both.I also want to get LDC's for both and grips for the 2240 and,and,and oh h*ll you guys know how it is. ;) ;) ;)

dang wally world for being a bargin:

-1 doomsday kit (couldn't pass up $75)
-4 cartons of pointed pellets (5000 pellets)
-1 tin of RWS wadcutters ($5)
-2 pellet pouches
-1 crosman red dot (under $13)

that pretty much takes my budget for a while...

Might have to get rid of a 13XX now that I'll have 4 of them...

i just used a bc perma blue kit yesterday.i heated the barrel with a heat gun and applied the bluing
it came out good except the darker it got the bluer it was.its a nice shiny blue color.its soaking in oter oil over night hopefully it gets more of a black color
the good when i rinsed and used the steel wool no bluing came on the white towel used :-*

I got some tung oil and steel wool in the mail yesterday.  I'm going to make a tiny change to my Keith Eisler grips and a fair amount of changes to a pair of Ralph's Sport grips.  The latter is too wide at the bottom...I'll remove the entire finish, sand off some wood and give it a tung oil finish when done.
