Very nice! What are ya gonna mount it on?

it started as a doomsday bugout carbine . it now has a 1322 tube with walnut grips/pumparm , FT P&V , steel breech with a aluminum pivot/barrel band and a few other things done to it . i've got leapers high dovetail mounts for the scope .

I received my BB order from PA today. Daisy AVANTI and the Hornady/UMAREX black diamond BB's. I took my Mitutoyo dial caliper and measured 5 of the Hornady BB's. They are from .173 to .1735. And they are round. I check them by rotating and they measure the same, round .173. I then measured some Walmart Daisy BB's and what a joke. .171 to .174. And they are not round. The .174 I rotated and it dropped to .173. The Daisy AVANTI BB's are .174 to .175. And they also are round, rotating them in the dial caliper. I haven't shot any of the Hornady yet, but I'm a going to. I think they might work pretty good. ;)

I tried out the Black diamond Hornady BB's last night and yes they work really well. I would recommend them. The first target is with the Remington 1911 and the second is the Witness 1911, shot at 5m, one hand. Yes, I used the Remington mag in the Witness. Now most would say that these groups are not that good, but you have to remember, these are BB guns, not match guns. I'm really happy with these BB's in these guns. 8) 8)

BTW ..... do 0-rings have a shelf life ?
should i just keep them in a ziplock baggie ?
or should a drop or 2 of secret sauce/lube be added and worked around to keep them very slightly damp ?

The only thing shipping to me in the near future are auto parts, which means a lot of work ahead of me... fuel sending units, oil cooler seals, motor mount, radius arm bushings, blower motor resistor, serpentine idler pulley, oil filters... I'd much rather it be toys but I have the previously mentioned parts to install along with an engine and transmission to rebuild before toys come into play...

Have me many an airgun :), count is 102 now...
