I was just wondering about him. Quickster and I combined order from him many times without a single problem. Great parts if you can get them!

Yep, congrats on the Stace parts. Heard they were worth the wait.............

now, I got this 2240 yesterday and even though it has to come apart again foor many mods, I couldn't resist popping on the nickel breech and arkpod. Man more nickel plated parts coming, along with a new boss valve and oh yes, some nice grips! Time and $$$ is all it is going to take :-)

I ordered this one direct from Crosman and it was by far the nicest 2240 I have ever bought new. Fit and function was flawless. Everything is lined up perfectly. Even both the grip screw slots are set parallell to the tube and barrel. There is no parting lines on the grip frame to speak of. If I had to pick one bad thing it would be the roughness of the outside of the barrel. But it is deep black and really no worse than any other I have had............. so yes, Mr. Duck, I admit to hesitating on changing it, but then I thought............ where is the fun in that!!!!! :-) I have wondered if now that Remminton owns Crosman, did the QC department pick it up a notch??

Ahhhhh, sorry. I have remington on the brain. Been looking at a couple of thier rifles (and Marlins) in the last week..... True purchaser is here:

Still I wonder if QC has been encouraged a little. My recent 2400KT is another example of very nice workmanship as is the current 2240. I have bought a lot of Crosmans and these last two are over the top. Not AA quality, but then we are also talking two different price zones.....

Anyway, sorry about the screw up.
Rich

Regardless of the new ownership name designation, it makes sense that the QC at the individual assembler level may be heightened to retain employment.   Sort of a ******* for the employees but it may be a plus for Crosman Corp. & us Crosman buyers/users/almost normal shooters that have Crosmanites.  Who knows.... ???
