It's great to fix the gun and make it BETTER than the original.

That was my thought to when I saw it. Send those pics to Crosman!!!!   :D

That is a great mod  :-* :-*
I just hope I can remember it when I finally get around to finishing off the .22 model  ;)

Finally got around to start modding my .177 Hatsan 25 Supercharger. Put alot of pellets through it and the chrony backs up Hatsan's claims of 700 fps with lead pellets (I used 7.2 grain Beemans). flat sanded a lot of wood off the backsides of the RB grips I'm putting on it. made up a small fixture to mount stock grips to so I could mill them down and use as spacers/filler for grip area the RB's didn't match up with. Had to take almost 1/4 inch off stock rubber grips and had some worries about face milling rubber, decided to go .015 per pass to avoid grips lifting and turning to rubber garbage. Pic of RB's on top of modded stock ones, not a perfect match but I'm good with it. Clean and lube internals. Started camo paint job. Tan base, green on top. Did brown this morning but no pics of that.

Thanks. Will get pics up when it's done. Need to get other side painted, use a satin matte clear coat, drill second mounting holes in RB grips, mount dot sight. Trying not to rush, slow and steady wins the race. Then hoping the squirrels never see what hit them!

I cut up a garden hose, washed off the pieces and duct taped together to put in my new pellet trap.

Lined the freshly built target trap with duct seal and took the first shots with the new PC77... And either I am
pulling everything or the cheap plastic sights suck. Next up is to install steel breech and upgraded rear sight.

Hehe, it was actually my cheap beater hacksaw with a very worn-down blade. Didn't want to use the good hacker cutting rubber.

Yep need an updated hose report. ;D I'm still waiting on my brother to bring me a piece of conveyor belt from his rock plant. Going to give that a try I know it is some heavy duty stuff used it for bed mats in pickup trucks before and it lasts forever.

Sorted out my Umarex S&W wobbly grip.  Great pistol but the clip of grips develops a wobble and cut into my hands.

This was a tip from IanG at the last IPAS event I was at.  It's just metal putty pressed to shape, wipe inside of removable grip with oil (so it doesn't stick) and press together.  Dried in about 30 mins and grip rock solid now.
