Tinkering with a recently acquired Crosman 100. Made the tool to dis assemble the rifle a little bit ago.

Entire rifle needs to be re-sealed...rather than carve up the original parts, or order NOS/reproduction parts from someone else....decided to make a new valve body and stem. :)

Made a couple subtle changes to the valve, but maintained stock porting which IMO is more than needed for .177...but I can hog it out later without worry (or attack of conscience) should that be deemed necessary. Still need to make a new rear half and check valve...will use an o-ring to seal to the pump tube rather than the fiber washer the factory used.

Will need to make a new piston assembly for the pump as well. Not sure if I want to rust blue the small steel parts or have a go at niter bluing...fun little project. :)

I just ordered a Boss Buddy high flow transfer port and the High Performance Pump RP Valve. It seemed easier then flat topping my valve and then buying a new piston. I want to get a steel breech and longer barrel, about 16 inches. I have seen barrel mounts at about half the price of the steel breech. Has anyone have any experience with these barrel mounts?

They are not as solid as steel breeches, I myself would not waste money on them.

what the senor said pro blocks are next to useless to mount optics a steel breech is the way to go

Thanks for the kind words, brothers.

Everything was Crosman and/or Alchemy in-house made or modified except...

the stripper (Hatsan .25) that we modified to fit on .500 OD barrel.
the .25 barrel (although we did the port, the leade and turned the barrel down to .500 OD before we powder coated it.
Both the brass band and the 2250/2400 band had to be made to accept the coated tube and the .500 coated barrel.
Tools, time and want-to...

The probe is a brass .22 stock length probe that we added a ss tip to for extension... and to fit the .25 leade and bore it has a .177 Viton o-ring with a .22 Viton o-ring over that.  I made it before I shaped the leade so I KNOW it seals perfectly.  I can load any .25 pellet I have (and I have them all) EXCEPT for the really long Eunjin .25 pointed.  I would have to remove the ss tip from the probe to make those feed. I shoot JSB King .25 most of the time and they feed like butter.

This is a long pistol, so I am going to dip a matching carbine stock so it can go either way.
