I set it as close to the Crosman shoulder stock as I could since that was available on a 2240.  And at 16", trigger to butt, sounds long, but feels right to me - I'm average height at 6' 0", sleeve length about 34" or 35".  I'll have to say that 16" measurement surprised me.

 Tried my hand at making some .30 cal. 70 gr. bullets for my .30 cal. today they shoot great and if I do say so myself , they look dang good too !  ;D ;D ;D

BTW, just finished the main machining work on my bronze-aluminium alloy breech. Still have to make a rear plug, a bolt and some rear sight  :).
