evening all bought a 2240 two weeks ago put a gmac steel breech on and a longer prob with a power adjuster on back it was shooting great from new,  but since I put these bits on the power keeps going up and down  3flb to 6/7 fab and down again I think  I have put it back together right  could do with some advice  :(

Check that the rear breech screw is not poking through the end cap and touching the hammer spring.   Metal breeches and plastic breeches generally require a different length screw.   And there is not a lot of material for the screw.

Edit - poorly worded - meant not much leeway for the length of the screw.

  all ok now thanks  5.6 ftlb  about 38 good shoots can go higher but accuracy go"s off
