Hello all,
Just wondering what parts people lubricate inside a Crosman and what they use?
I put some sewing machine oil on the trigger sears, but what does anyone do about other moving parts like the hammer and pellet probe?
Cheers.
Drop of Crosman Oil on probe o-ring.
I do not lube the super sear.
Internally is done with a drop of oil on the CO2 cartridge.
Just my take on lube gleaned from old posts & experience, which is not always right & could be well added to.
No lube: Hammer, just polish hammer & deburr tube & polish tube.
Moly...Honda 60 (or similar): trigger, sear & pins. Only after polishing trigger & sear. Grease should not be what makes the better trigger feel as it will wear off and effect the pull.
Oil: Piston, seal, valve, pumper arms, pivots & a small drop on the piercing end of a CO2 cart.. I use Tims "Mac Ones Secret Sauce". Many use 30wht. nondetergent oil w/good results. Although the Secret Sauce does not "gum up" the valve after many years of use.
That's what I do....Take it for what it's worth.... ??? ??? ???
Many thanks for both your replies :-*
