So, if I guess 49 and Noah guesses 51 and there are actually 50 then I would win because I did not go over the actual count and Noah would lose because he guessed more than the actual count even though we were both off by 1. Whew...

Well...If X is the total amount of cartridges in the container, then (V) volume of container times (C) cartridge dimension squared minus (A) air volume plus .31695789 per cartridge divided by 32 should give you an accurate count. X(VC2)(-A+.31695789/32) Solve for X ;D
