I finally did something yesterday that I haven't done yet, I shot my 2240 and 2260 with all the different pellets that I had to see what they liked best. Both guns shot the crosman domed premiers the best and the 2240 also shot the crosman piranhas just as well altho not in the same spot. I would have to sight the gun in for which pellet I was going to use. Surprisingly the 2240 also shot the eunjins very accurately also tho again in a different spot. One thing that I noticed with the 2260 is that once the co2 started to get low the pellets were all over the place not just lower and lower.
I use Crosman CPHP. They are very accurate in mine and easily found at walmart, with fair price.I shot other ammo that shot well but cost more.
What distance were you shooting at?
5 and 10 meter comps for 2 of my pistols
Up to 30 yards for the other 2 outside plinking and paper targets
I use AA and JSB pellets on my Crosmans.
Have not tried Crosmans yet nor I intend to.
I was shooting at 10 yds. I have not tried Jsb's yet but they are dead nuts out of my marauder.
I have found that Crosman CPHP work just fine
for head shots ... :-* :D
Well, I don't care what pellet it is if I can put it where I want it to go (in the head) it's a killer. I do wanna get some jsbs tho and try them too.

In that cas try the Polymags also. They were also very accurate but costly for shooting paper
I will do that, they also are very accurate in my marauder, once I have it dialed in on paper I'm done so I will only use them on vermin :-*
Well I've found that Beeman coated wad cutters group best of any pellet I've tried in my .177 cal airguns, both pump up and CO2 powered rifles and pistols.
For serious work (FT)I use AA/JSB.
Everything else.
Crosman 7.9 & 10.5, and I mean by the thousands..
I see Crosman has a new 19.0 grain .22.
Should be great..
I cast my own .22's and .25's. The only pellets I buy are for my .177's. I've put literally thousands of my 19.6 grain cast meplats through my Crosman 150's this winter. As a matter of fact I just emptied one of my targets for my 99% pure lead pellets to be re-melted. The five yard group is typical of an off hand group sitting in an office chair at 15ft with the Crosman 150's. The day before yesterday I was out hunting with my Airmax Dominator on the state land and I nailed a crow @ 60-70yds with one of my Hunter Magnums that are 23 grain.

Crosman hollow points work good but I have had better luck with jsb jumbo heavies and also good luck with rws super points now that Im using a hollow probe.
Nice looking lead, Wayne52
