Doing some research on silhouette shooting and keep running into the "taco hold". Seems to mean a lot of different things to different people. Tried a couple of different variations with varying degrees of success. Any advice, links to reputable sources/photos/videos would be appreciated.
Do a search here on the forum. I don't use this grip, but if memory serves me, there was a discussion a few years back dealing and experimenting with the taco hold by other members.
Here is one thread

Push with right hand.
Pull with the left.
Arkmaker,
I did do a search of the forum and found a number of posts on the taco hold. Nothing really helpful with respect to how to actually establish and shoot the position. Lot's of good taco humor and some general tips. Did an internet search and found about the same. Found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7a85uctmQw]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7a85uctmQw where the shooter is demonstrating the taco hold but one of the comments states that it is really a "reverse taco hold"...pretty confusing. Attached is a picture of what I'm currently trying. Seems to be working better with my arm almost straight down rather than out to the side. Any comments would be appreciated.
Reposting link from my last post. https://youtu.be/I7a85uctmQw
I see people shoot with the non-shooting hand on top of the scope.
Not for me.
I think what I am describing is a modified Weaver Stance (push with the right, pull with the left).
But whatever works for you.
