Barrel band needed? I forgot to install it.
IF you need the band will depend on how good a lock up you have on the barrel at the breech. If you have an aftermarket breech with multiple hold down screws, you should be ok. It is called free floating the barrel. Of course the longer the barrel and the less grip you have with the breech could warrent the band to be installed. I personally prefer to use the breech screws and a band. Less worries about knocking the barrel out of sorts then.
If you have the plastic breech, you definitley need the band.
