Title: 2240 which pellets to use

Hi everyone im going to pick my new 2240 up tomorrow and then start to mod it over the next few months. What is the best pellets to use and what grain in .22.  :-*

10-14 grain range is good for a 2240. Pick ones that are pretty, too.

A few brands that may shoot well include Crosman Premier, Crosman Destroyer, RWS Hobby, RWS Superdome and JSB Exact.

  A lot of it will depend on the gun !  I have 3 2240s that I have moded and two of them like the Crosman 14.3 Hollow points and the other like RWS Superdome ! I went through a lot of pellet brands before I found the one I shoot now!!

Don't plunk as many .22 pellets downrange, but the RWS Meisterkuglen Waductters aren't to shabby and surprising the Gamo Match in .22 sometimes do ok.

That is usually determined by what *your* barrel likes.  :-*
