Title: Your Crosman's favorite feed
Post by: CO2Freak on February 27, 2021, 09:46:09 PM
It's funny...

Where all my other branded airguns are shooting great with JSB pellets, my Crosmans are liking H&N FTT pellets the most as favorite feed.

What do you feed your Crosman as favorite pellet ?

Mine aren't choosy - and they get what I feed 'em -  Gecos and Vogel big can for the 0.177's. I'm such a lousy shot that keeping records on pellet accuracy has shown me I need to look at getting the cataracts replaced...but not now 😊

I use the H&N Finale Match 4.49mm 7.9gn Wadcutters in both my Rifle and pistol. No complaints whatsoever!

Getting cataracts taken care of is worth it.  I had my first done two weeks ago. A couple of days later I was out shooting without any glasses.  Today I just finished up a 22xx, don't know what to call it, I started with a 2240xl, took the barrel and bolt out and put a 10" .177 barrel on, 1701p trigger, a front sight that looks like a muzzle brake, and a LPA rear.  I was hitting  soda cans off a rest at 30 yards .  Vision in my right, the dominate eye is now 20/20, the left eye not so good.  My wife likes closed caption on tv and viewing with right eye it is crystal clear, left eye I just see some fuzzy lines of print.  We had some very bad weather mid Feb, snow and ice here in E Texas, that shut everything down for a week, including my initial evaluation, so I ended up getting surgery appointments in slots where people had cancelled..  The worst thing about it is bright lights, no pain or discomfort and my vision was better a few minutes after the surgery, although due to dilation needed dim light .  I wish I had done it several years ago

RWS R10 followed closely by Crosman Premier. Until I got the LW barrel, it wasn't too picky.

2300s = 7.9cph
1720T = 7.9cph for hunting and AA 10.34 for PFT..

Doc says cataracts aren't bad enough yet. After all, i made implants for 17 years - I know they work well. But now I keep the range to 20 yards and pistols to pretty much 10M, so pellets don't make enough difference between the shaking and the fuzzy targets!
