The other week I recall reading where Davio was going to build a tricked out pistol in a week ??? Well, I did not see much in the comments to that so I figured, let's get it on! Dig into your parts box and let's see what we can come up with :D

I have the parts for a build, but can't guarantee I'll do it by then. Do need a kick in the pants for it though, have been gathering parts for months. Also having trouble deciding exactly what I want to build! ;D

I'm thinking it will be a CAPOF vote thing or either we will have to set up some sort of macho Creative Airgun Peoples Official Project bling supreme court to determine a winner.
Then again, every member of the CAPOF will be a winner as there are bound to be some innovative things come out of this.
I'm wondering if we might not should make this a two week thing instead of five days.

BigErn, you just need to buy some more guns, start trading out parts, swap with a few friends, visit some garage sales and flea markets and before you know it you have enough spares for a couple of custom BE guns.

No spare parts for me....I'd have to take all my Crosmans, dismantle them all and dump parts in a bin, shake well and see what I can come up with. I'll be watching and enjoying though.

technically though the parts i'm using are purpose bought so i'm not sure if it qualifies as a spare parts gun

Thank's Carl, Left-Overs it is. In fact, that what we had for dinner tonite, left overs. That's all the spair parts I had, left overs.
i pretty much sol off all my extras just have a spare or 2 left for repairs
just about every gun of mine has come from parts, my phase 2 1377 is the only gun that i have that originated as a whole gun
i tend to do the same thing ed had a spare 2260 tube so instead of selling it i had to build it into some thing

You still have a day or two to hit the garage sales or your friends for some pieces parts. Maybe even your co-workers might have some "Left-Over" pieces.

Well, I have one entry ready. Not even the one I've intended for months, but it came from too many parts and I think I'll enjoy it. Might be the only one ready for tom. though.
Could not stand the thought of missing out on this Gauntlet Challenge!! I am not sure if this pistol is going to count as an entry, but I'll enter it anyways and let you guys decide. It started as a quest to enter the Stock 2240 Target Comp.
Recently bought some polished parts from our classifieds and then Carl sent me the semi-stubby. Well, I swapped a bunch of the parts out from that pistol and my leftovers box, making a stock 2240 for this months "Stock 2240 Only" comp. What was left over is my entry.
I ended up with the stock 2240 (not sure I can even walk the 5m to set up the target yet!) and a 2nd pretty cool looking semi polished and stubby trigger-framed pistola. I have an aluminum breech that I never finished sitting here, but I am not sure that will make it onto this build because of this damn hip and my limitations for completing it. Either way, plastic or aluminum breech, I will enter it so we will have one more to look at.
