Crosman air pistol - General discussion / Reading old posts.
Last post by crmcrm - January 07, 2025, 10:37:32 PM
I have been browsing and reading old threads. It is not getting my post count up, but it has been informative.

I am back to December of 2012. Some of you already seem like old friends.

Beginning to think my pre-move order is lost.

Just an update...
I called Crosman on Thursday. New database system so they had to re-enter my personal information.

I was told that they could take my order, but it wouldn't ship for a couple of weeks. The guy started to take my order and discovered that the database didn't have any prices. He told me to call back in a couple of days.

I called today and was told that they can't take orders for a couple of weeks because the database needed to be updated.

Just thought that I would let people know.

Crosman air pistol - General discussion / Re: How many guns do you have?

I am reading through the old posts and I thought that I would revive an old thread. It has 15 pages of posts between 2013 and 2019.

I have 8, all pistols. Crosman: 2300t, 2x 2240 (one defective from Amazon and  the other the warranty replacement from Crosman), 1377, an old 1008 from decades ago. Others: a Beeman P17, a Umarex Ruger MKII (7.5lb trigger pull) and an IZH-46 that I bought new in the mid-late '90s.

So I've heard.  I guess I must have ordered on the very last few days of service.  My order must be in the moving vans or not yet filled.    :(

Crosman air pistol - General discussion / No parts orders until January
Last post by crmcrm - December 22, 2024, 05:36:44 PM
I called to try to order some parts last week. Was told that the parts were being shipped to Arkansas and that it would be early to mid January before I could place an order.

I assume that you have the correct allen key (Sorry, I have to ask.)
From my experience once you have the LPA sight in the dovetail you need to use your thumb to press down on the back of the sight to compress the spring and allow good access to the screws.
I hope this helps.

My new sight has a problem. The allen key provided for the 2 tiny set screws doesnt fit those screws. It doesnt fit into the head. Those screws are suppose to tighten the sight into the dovetail.Anyone else have this problem??
