Title: New main tube?

I'm doing some mods on my 2240, I would like to put a longer main tube on it but not sure what I need.
I'm talking this is what I need, please tell me if I'm right.  A 2250 main tube and a cap with the extended rod also for the 2250.

Correct.

If the 2250 forearm is to be used, the 2250 barrel band, the small mounting plate, and a bit longer forward grip screw are also needed.    Otherwise the 2240 barrel band is fine.
