Title: Shooting the 2300S
Post by: RetatCDude on June 16, 2020, 09:43:39 PM
I have had this pistol for quite awhile.
I most always shoot 7.9CPL and RWS 7.0 Basics.
They shoot OK.
OK for a decrepit curmudgeon.
Today I though I might try a heavier pellet.
I think someone here suggested that.
8.2 RWS Meisterkugeln.
Wow..

I too shoot the RWS Basic, as well as Hobby, with my 2300S.

I've successfully shot the RWS Meisterkugeln in my 19" LW barrel LW66 custom, but it's shooting a bit faster than 500fps in that gun. I'm not sure if the heavier pellet will shoot any better in the 2300S.

Yes, great pistol and I know I've seen it before?  One pellet you might try out is the RWS R-10. I buy them in the tins and have had luck with them shooting well if not great in everything. I just wish I didn't wait so long to try them.
