I'm pretty sure that I have posted photos here after PhotoBucket got greedy and started charging excessive fees to use their hosting service. Sadly, I can't recall just how to do it :(. I've done a search of the site but can't seem to find a post that describes the process. I would much appreciate a "refresher" on the subject. Thanks.

Replace the grubscrew with a longer one and use that as front sight.

I recently picked up a muzzle brake/moderator for my 2240 most of you will likely be aware, you have to remove the front site in order to be able to add in ad adoption to take it to half inch to be able to add most moderators with me still being new to using the pistol I would prefer to still use iron sight for a little while, before moving to adding a red dot or other optic does anyone know if it's possible to purchase an aftermarket front site to add somewhere else on the barrel to still be able to take advantage of using iron sites?

Quote from: uncletom on March 18, 2024, 05:17:32 PMI see. Ok, you say that your breeches have less gap on the sides then? Or none at all? I'm curious, please cold you take a photo of your 13xx Crosmans with steel breech from the rear?

I mean, if it works it's good. The Crosmans are quite basic air guns, there's no real need for higher precision. Only, I'm used to powder-guns where even older stuff is dependant on a tight  fit. There there's alot of power involved so you need a solid, well made peice. Though I should perhaps not compare the two categories, twas only an observation.
I will get a few pics and post them but it won't be this weekend, sorry. Earlier in this thread, when I pulled the 1377 & 1322 out of the locker to check for the gap, I thought about using a feeler gauge for a precise measurement but didn't have the time to dig out the gauge. Perhaps I'll do that in addition to the pics. Sound good?

Awesome !!

They are beautifully finished and very nicely shaped.  I thought I would prefer a gloss finish, but am now sold on the matte oil finish. I trust that they will fit very nicely.  All I need now is a pistol to attach them to.  :)

I had the grips made in Zebra wood (Zebrano).  I was going to get the best quality walnut or even Thuya burl, but my efforts were an exercise in futility.  The Zebra wood is very attractive; it will look nice with the black nitride on the CO2 tube, the flat black powder coat on the grip frame, the stainless breech, and the stainless caps and barrel band.

Teun Meen in Holland is nearing completion of my 2300S, and once it is sent to me here in Germany, I will take photos, and list all the upgrades that were made.

Have a nice weekend guys!

Quote from: flairgunner77 on March 06, 2024, 01:52:24 PMI got a price for a 10" LW barrel from Alliance Hobby but at $85 for a 10", I need to think about whether that pistol is worth it as I already have a 2300S and 2300T, both with LW barrels. I'll call Crosman today to see if they sell 10" LW barrels. If not I may try a 14" barrel if that will improve accuracy. Thanks for the resize info and I'd love to paste in a picture but the iPad IOS is different than either my Windows laptop or my MacMini computer so I'll have to use one of them this afternoon. The iPad is more convenient, recliner ops, but lacks some capabilities.  More later today.

I got my second 10" LW barrel for $63.60 shipped. 2300 002 is the part number.

You're right, the two .177 14.6" ones I have are more accurate.
