Are you getting another one?

I'd be interested in seeing if they changed anything.

Personally, I think folks are pretty much over this thing now.

Yep, me too. I shot mine again tonight and found out that the front sight is too high. I'm going to oil this thing down and put in storage. It sucks! I wish that I lived close to Crosman like Crosshairs does, so I could take this back and stick it up Chips nose. People DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS GUN!!

Again, thanks for all the honest reviews here.  I spared myself the aggravation and cancelled my order.  Now if I listened to Mr. Gaylord.....

If you want something to play with and mod, then buy one. Mine works great with dome pellets. It does not like match flat nose pellets. It's the sights and the trigger pull that sucks. Work on making a new front sight and a new rear sight. Take it apart and find out what makes the trigger work. Then mod the thing. Go for it the next time they have a 10% off cupon. Do it, you like working on this stuff to make it better. Here is a challenge.

The hook spring for the hammer seal snapped in 1/2 on my after about 1500 pellets  >:( I have been trying to replace it with a stronger one. You will know when it happens when ether your gun don't cock or it is cocked & you cant pull the trigger. I am not the 1st person this has happened to so it does seem like a problem.

I guess I should have read this thread before I placed my order yesterday. No matter. I want to try the Nitro Piston, see what that,s all about and I want to see if the rear sight can be adapted to a 2240.

To use the Industrial Brand sight on a 2240 you will need to have a steel breech or aluminum breech with a dovetail.
