I did a trade recently for my Transformer 2. Today, the new owner brought it to Mac-1 for a new LDC and a quick look over. Well, needless to say, yes, I was a little nervous to have Tim looking over my work!! One real nice compliment was when the new owner asked him to do a re-crown, Tim doned his head-scope and took a look at mine. Then said, "Nothing wrong with that crown, can't make it any better" or something similar to that.........
Any how, I was relieved and I think my chest just got a little bigger ;D They shot it over the chrony and were getting around 585 fps with 18.3 grain pellets. Not to awful shabby for a heavy weight .22 pellet. Let's hope the accuracy is there. He should be shooting right now as I type this post!!

That's a pretty cool endorsement. :-*
can't get better than that

Yep, and at close to 14 ft lbs it should be a good little pester as well. He just emailed me a target that he shot offhand and the spread looks to be about 3/8" to 5/8" Hard to tell from the photo. He said the target measures 9/16" You be the judge.

Oh, and here was what I received on my end of the trade!!
Nice! Did it come with the charliedatuna trigger or did you put it on?
It makes a huge differenc frome the stock trigger. That is a dime size geouper if you hold it right while shooting...
I sold mine a long time ago...kind of wish i hadnt...
The former owner put it on and even though I have not had a chance to shoot it yet, it feels good and I think has potential. I only have one other break barrel (the low powered Titan) and really have not had a chance to shoot it either. Both are a bit loud for my backyard, so only time will tell.

Also, looking at the grouping above, I do not think that target is only 9/16" If you figure the pellets are .220" then 3 pellets side by side would measure a little less than 9/16" Maybe what he meant to say was that the group measured 9/16" or I read the email wrong. Blame it on old age!! I'll sclae it and see what I come up with.
The above target scaled down so that the pellet hole measures .220" will measure 1-3/8" in diameter. Still not too bad of shooting.
Congrats on the trade and the compliments Rich. If that's a NP Trail XL I got one too in .22.

Does Crosman still carry those Airsource sleeves?

Congrats on the trade and the compliments Rich.
X2! :-* :-*
Nice Benji. What model/caliber is it ???. I have the "950 fps" Hardwoods edition in .22 (which in the real world shoots 720 - 730 w/14.6gr ammo) and love it once I upgraded the trigger.
Try some 14.66 gr H&N Field Target Trophies through her, mine LOVES 'em! It will consistently hit a 1.5" spinner at 50 yards all day long using them...benched of course :)

No, I don't think they do. I got that one form another member here on the CAPOF.
Yep, Benji NP Hardwood in .22 I will pick up some of those pellets and give them a try when I get the chance. Thanks.

I have been looking for some time for one ....
If someone finds a box full of those at some point, they would make a fortune!! Everyone that has an 88 gram tank is always looking for one. They'd sell like hotcakes, me thinks!
I've got one of those re-fillable 88g tanks from Brian & Associates with the adapter. Not using it right now, and it just sits on the shelf. Nice gun build, BTW.
Just a thought but I got one of those scope coats and the I asked Terry the owner if he had one to fit my Mueller quick shot. . He said no but they could make one and I'm betting he could make a cover for those 88 gram bottles. Here is the link to his website. Can't hurt to ask.

I received another scope cover from Terry at scopeshieldalaska. Ordered on Saturday came today. I sent him an email about the quick shipping and asked if they could make those covers. HR said no problem just contact him and give him dimensions. It won't day Crosman on it but the quality of the scope covers are real nice. They are the stretchy neoprene type material. Just thought you guys might be interested oh and he also said at a very good price too.
