I got one from a friend who did not want it any longer... :P :P

Was in rough condition, but light disassembly and cleaning netted a pretty good shooter. :-*

I was hoping that the SSP-250 barrel I got last year would work... IT DOES!! :) :)

I needed to replace the seal from the valve to the breech and its screw was toast. Need to chrony it too...

I need a better scope/dot but I mounted up one to try and it shot pretty well.

Here is how it looks with the shorter SSP250 barrel.

I like it CW. :-* I didn't realize the first backpakers were rear cockers. It's a novel gun.

Does anyone know if Crosman is selling the 2289 forearms again, and if so, what the part number is? More specifically, has anyone ordered one within the last 6 months or so, because I know previously they said they weren't offering them any longer.

The part # you are looking for is 1389-025 $8.75 last I knew.

As of 1-30-2014 the 2289-025 was $9.50 .

I got to watch more closely to what I post . I was lookin at the PA mag. lookin at .22 marauder . That's
where the 22 came in . Now 1389-025 is $9.50 .
