Maybe it is just me, but it seems there are more grip makers today opposed to just a few years ago. Unless you are in the grip-making business, this is a good thing for us grip buyers.  ???

I do, however, miss the options available when RB Grips were alive and well.

Give Davio a break. He is just starting out. It has taken him a while to do this. Did RB make a copy of the backpacker fore arm in walnut?  Look at what Davio is making now.

I'd like anybody to reference where I may have taken a cheap shot at Davio. I simply complimented a former grip maker on his products - period.  ??? :o

I'm sorry Noah. You did not take a shot at Davio. I just took as you wanted something different. That's all. No harm my friend.   ;)

I just wanted to chime in and say that I have nothing but the utmost respect for RB grips.

I had just bought the CNC machine a couple of months before RB stopped taking orders the first time. I heard the owner (Ralph) was very sick, felt real bad about it, and believe it or not... I turned my back on it for a long long time. I am not an opportunistic bastard and did not want to appear that way. I have even sent suitable wood chunks, tubes and frames (free) to Texas, Louisiana and Massachusetts to try to help three different guys get started making some cool grips. Nothing came of it.

Going slow. Gonna be some cool stuff if I live to see it. Not gonna copy anybody else. Not gonna replace anybody else. The more the merrier, I truly always say.

Just so many hours in the day, you know?    :)

Yes, CNC. Of course.

And I'll also say that it was over 3 years ago I bought a 4'x4' vacuum press setup with the sole intention of it being used for making seriously cool laminates of various woods. Never fired it up yet. Time may come, though.

Glad to see your making grips now Davio. Nice grips at a good price. Can't wait to see some laminates in the future (if it happens).
