Finally got myself a .050 allen key so i can start to make a few mods on my 2240.

When you strip that little screw....err...I mean IF you strip that little screw, I have some nice McMaster-Carr SS ones with a slotted head, lol.

did they need the head turned down? or direct fit?

Actually I didn't even try them as-is.  I compared one to the head diameter of the OEM screw and it was bigger by 0.030".  So I chucked one up on my cordless drill and ground it down to match.  I don't think there's much clearance in that hole so I'm guessing it has to be done.

It's so nice to be able to tighten that down without wincing in fear.
