A Crosman Town & Country, model 108 from the 50's early 60's.
Combo peep and notch rear sight and two front sights, tall and short.
Weighs in about 8 lbs! and built like a battleship. Notice the fine fit of the pump handle to the stock? Aaah, those were the days.
These rifles were the "model 600" of the Crosman pumpers, probably the best pumper rifle they ever built.
I'm on a roll... 8)

that 1377 wood stock is awesome, so is that picture of the disassembled 2240. It's gonna be my new wallpaper ;D
I've seen the exploded 2240 pic before, but it would be better if it had some annotation showing you which parts will:
a) pop out and hit you in the eye
b) are headed to "No Mans Land" in the carpet or under a piece of furniture
c) be too small for average guys hands to deal with
d) impossible to get back into correct spot when reassembling
I could go on, but I'm new!

Only 3 parts, hammer spring, safety spring and the tiny ball and the trigger sear spring, other than that... not so bad
good to know. I've spent hours trying to get 357 back together and no luck yet!

I like reflex-style red dots. Both the Barska and Walther are really nice. I used the 2240 with the barska, as pictured, on the 10M Benchrest copm this month.

I have a couple of those reflex sights...they're great for the price. I find the reticle images are much more precise compared to the plain dot style ones in the tube. Target acquisition might be a little slower at least for me, than with a tube since the field of view through them are so much wider. I sometimes have to hunt around to find the reticle for a split second.

It's a poor mans LDC and... is prob too small to do diddly BTW. Kids use the big plastic coke bottles to do the same, it's an expansion chamber for lack of a better term.

Heh heh. now that you mention it. Over the weekend, I knocked the front sight off the gun. some tape around the barrel. A piece of pipe from the shed. And one tape baffell at the end. All I can hear is the hammer "ping". That gets annoying after awhile. Didn't even scare the two ducks 15 yards from me!
i hear that buti like the sound if the hammer hitting at least then i know the gun did something or else i would have to rely on impact noise.if i missed then i would wonder if a pellet was loaded in the first place
i had a 3/4" x 4" mellonair brake that did a better job than the 1" 6.5" tko.its all about the insides
