Title: what tool do i need for this?

i want to move the seat of the valve stem closer to the transfer port for better direct flow into the barrel but i don't know what is needed to make the conical shape. basically i want to remove as much material as i can but not get rid of the edge that the stem seals on

have you angled the port --- to do what you want to do a lathe is probably your best bet or find someone who can do it for you ar make a custom valve.

x2. If you muck up the valve seat, the valve is useless.
