All things being equal, what kind of power spread can i expect from one of these?? is it a few flbs? or less?
Not important on the cosmic scale of things,Just curious...

Approx 90 fps in .177 caliber.

Crosman 2300S model quotes "440 to 520 fps"

They are more of a power-lowering device for the shorter ranges of paper target shooting.

After buying a chrony one of the first things I did was test the effectiveness of the power adjuster on my 2300S.  The results were disappointing:
