don cothran sells a stainless steel 2260 tube if you are going hpa the cost of the 2260pcp tube will cost a lot cheaper than the over priced tubes on ebay and the needed valve adapter
and its much stronger
crosman 2260 1500psi
dc2260pcp 3000psi+

A while back I think Greg @ Blue Fork Design was doing a shorty aluminum breech,or supposed to be doing one, if I can remember correctly.Could be wrong on that though... ???

Ask Joe @ HPA Sports...He'll know.
He's a friend of mine,and a great guy... ;)

This is for the discovery rifle. I am doing a 2250 to pcp conversion. I got these thinking thats what i wanted however i went with the standard 18 inch that the 2250 came with and used the BNM breech and shroud.

Let me know if you are interested. I also have 2 14.5 inch .22 cal barrels as well.

LOL my extra parts are building up like crazy.

i did notice that they except the same steal breech.

Unless someone else chims in different i would think so. If your looking for a steal breech i have one that came off my 2250 xe.

Just trying to help, but do your research to make sure. its no worries on my end. Ill return them to Crosman if i have to.

as far as i know they fit
the only noticable difference is the flat for the rear sight

The Disco barrel is 7/16" but if it is for Disco the bluing doesn't go to the end, because of the decorative sleeve at the front of the disco breech.  I also think the Disco barrels maybe a little better overall.  Got a couple myself and haven't seen any lead or crown issues so far. I had the .177 up to 945fps and were accurate with CPHP 7.5 grain pellets. Not like the some 2260 Crosman barrels.

Ya know i finally unwrapped these barrels, and i couldnt see a noticeable difference. Not that im a expert at all, but wouldnt it be obvious?

cohiba pm sent.
not worried about the flat or blueing because barrel will be covered full length.
have also read several comments about them being better barrels.

i think they are the same barrel only a slight cosmetic difference, the flat.maybe the reason the part numbers are almost identical
the flat doesnt hurt anything its there for the rear sight
