Weaver rail on 2300

Several people have asked how I attached the weaver rail to the pistol I entered in the guantlet post.  I used a rail from a Weaver Remington 870 scope base set commonly found in Walmart.  I found two 8-32 screws long enough to hold the rail and exert proper pressure on the tube.  The holes in the barrel band seemed a bit tight, so I tapped them out with an 8-32 tap.

And having that rail up there comes in very handy.

That's an excellent idea.  I have several front grips.  I think I'll try that after I finish modifying my stock.  :)

Nice job funny what you can do with a little thinking i put a sling on my 2289 using a muzzle brake and a sling kit from Gander Mt  :-*
